This Highfield accredited refresher course allows participants to retrain for the qualification over two days providing that they have a valid & current certificate. Participants will refresh their skills to assist the recognition and management of illness and injury in the workplace 鈥� which offers more in-depth knowledge, allowing the participant to conduct a full assessment and administer first aid for a wider range of injuries as well as major illnesses such as diabetes, asthma, stroke etc.听

Learning Hours: 2 days (12 hours of learning)

Prerequisites: Certificate must NOT be more than one month over the required 3 years. If this is the case learners should complete the 3 day FAW course. Learners must produce current certificate upon booking.

This is recommended for First Aid Responders working in larger organisations and/or organisations with more potential for a diverse range and severity of injuries due to the nature of activities on site (plant, construction etc.)听
This course includes a听30-question multiple choice assessment to be completed at the end of the training in addition to practical demonstration assessments throughout听each听day.听Upon completion of this qualification you will gain a听Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work.
This is qualification is听required听in order听to听be a first aider听in the workplace where there听are听increased levels or risk.听听
